New Play Submissions

Thank you very much for your interest in our theatre company, Washington Women in Theatre.

WWIT promotes and nurtures original music and theatre projects from a woman's perspective, dealing with political, social and historical issues. WWIT will respond actively to the political climate in Washington, giving voice to the writers and composers especially of the D.C. area, but also to those nationally and internationally.

Please send new or previously produced one-acts, full lengths, musicals and non-musicals with your name, address, and phone and a one-page synopsis, and resume -- enclosing a stamped self-addressed 9X12 (or larger) manila return envelope and a self-addressed stamped letter envelope to:

Manuscripts may be held up to a full year before return due to our reading and production cycle.
